Description
The 366th Contracting Squadron intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) in accordance with FAR 14 as a Competitive 100% Small Business set-aside for the acquisition of construction services to repair the CJ Strike Marina near Mountain Home AFB, ID.
This requirement is for the repair/replacement of an existing bulkhead, sidewalk, Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) Split-face block retaining wall, and ramp at the USAF CJ Strike Marina. Work will include:
Demolishing existing dock access sidewalk slab and ramp, the existing CMU block masonry retaining wall, and approximately 120 linear feet of 4-foot-wide concrete waterside sidewalk; Installing sheet pile cut-off wall to create new bulkhead; Constructing new concrete sidewalk slab with stairs, new waterside sidewalk, and a new retaining wall; Providing new landscaping with synthetic turf; and running existing overhead electrical underground.A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award will be made to one responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation.
The IFB will be issued or about 13 February 2025 and be open through 17 March 2025.
The NAICS code for this requirement is 237990, “Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction,” and its Small Business Administration Size Standard is $45 Million dollars.
