The purpose of this notice is to meet the synopsis requirement. This is not an official solicitation.
The purpose of this project is to provide: Design and Construction of a mounted static display of the T-1A aircraft on Laughlin AFB within the Ribas-Dominicci traffic circle, located directly northeast of the West Gate. Work may include installation of all necessary drainage, lighting, erosion control, xeriscaping, landscaping, and other features consistent with existing static displays.
Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under the solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels the solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Please note the magnitude of this project is: between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work outlined in the Statement of Objectives (SOO) to design and construct a mounted T-1A Static Display. This Project is a design-build contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for a complete 100% design and for the construction of the design.
The period of performance (PoP) for this contract is a total of 210 calendar days. This project shall have three Notices to Proceed (NTP). NTP #1 will be for design submittals. The PoP for NTP #1 is 120 calendar days. NTP #2 will be for pre-construction submittals. The PoP for NTP #2 is 30 calendar days. NTP #3 will be for construction. The PoP for NTP #3 is 60 calendar days.
