Tender are invited for Notice of Utility Tariff FilingsThe REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that ENSTAR Natural Gas Company (ENSTAR) filed TA348-4 and TA349-4.With TA348-4, ENSTAR requests approval of an extension and amendment to its current special contract and service agreement with Alaska Electric and Energy Cooperative, Inc. and Homer Electric Association, Inc. (AEEC/HEA) for the provision of firm natural gas, which is set to expire March 31, 2025. The current special contract is being extended until March 31, 2026, and the extended term of the amended special contract will be April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2031. Under the extension and amendment, beginning April 1, 2025, natural gas service will be provided on a non-firm (interruptible) basis, with ENSTAR and AEEC/HEA agreeing that interruption will not be considered a qualifying interruption expense and AEEC/HEA will be excused from any obligations set forth in Section 1200 of ENSTAR-s tariff.
