- Description:
- We are looking for a pair of tactical robots that will be utilized in a variety of situations that would otherwise be a threat to our personnel. The robots will be used for interior/exterior operations in looking for suspects, communication and eyes on in hostage situations, and deployment of hot OC/CS gas. This will consist of two units. One larger unit will be the main robot used for most tactical operations. This unit will be able to traverse multiple types of terrain and be able to automatically climb stairs with no alteration of the unit so that it may be utilized inside of multi-story buildings with ease. This larger robot will be the one to dispense the hot OC/CS. The second unit will be a smaller robot that is deployable in seconds to quickly evaluate different hazards to our personnel. This smaller robot will primarily be used for reconnaissance.
