Description:
The project location in the County of Santa Cruz is as follows:• Intersection of McGregor Drive and New Brighton Road in Aptos, CAThe purpose of this project is to restore the ability of the Tannery Gulch Pump Station force main to discharge into either the 18-inch or 20-inch McGregor Drive force mains.Work includes demolition, abandonment, and replacement of 8\" force main and appurtenances at the interconnection of Tannery Gulch Pump Station force main and McGregor force main.Complete the work within 30 working days. See Special Provisions Book 2, Section 10-1.03 Time Constraints and Section 8-1.04C Delayed Start for information regarding pre-approved construction dates.The estimated cost of the project is $141,200.The Contractor must have either a Class A license or a combination of Class C licenses which constitutes a majority of the work: C-34 and C-36.Contractor and all listed subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Labor Code.Prevailing wages are required on this Contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates. Obtain the wage rates at the DIR Web site, http://www.dir.ca.gov, or from the Departments Labor Compliance Office of the district in which the work is located.
