The City of Tampa (“City”) Neighborhood and Community Affairs Department is seeking applications to select an Successful Proposer who will be the Operator to develop and run a center for creative technologies, devoted to the teaching, learning/micro-credentialing, and exploration of arts and technology (“Center”) under the Tech-STAR Initiative. The goal is to promote Tampa-s burgeoning tech landscape by promoting the synergistic creative relationship between technology and the arts, and relevant career pathways. Recognizing that alternative training and credentials are a vital part of the tech community the Tech-STAR (skilled through alternative routes) Initiative focuses on helping individuals build careers in Tampa-s growing tech community by perusing credentials and training that lead to career advancement and growth.
