Tenders are invited for Technical Telecommunications Consultant - Unitel Privatization The International Finance Corporation (“IFC”) has been mandated by Unitel S.A. (“Unitel”) to act as lead transaction advisor in its partial re-privatization through the sale of the shares held by one or more of Unitel-s shareholders on the Angola Securities and Debt Stock Exchange (“BODIVA”) and/or by any other suitable mechanism in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Angola (the “Project”). IFC seeks to hire a strategic consultancy firm to support IFC with the technical, commercial, and strategic aspects related to the sell-side due diligence and transaction implementation, including (i) strategic review of the Angolan telecoms market (ii) technical and commercial due diligence of Unitel-s, strategic positioning and development plans, (iii) elaboration of its business plan, (iv) assistance with transaction structuring.
