Description
The Indian Health Service, Shiprock Service Unit (SSU), located in Four Corners Regional Health Center, Red Mesa, Arizona 86514 intends to negotiate a sole source award with Navajo Communications Co. Inc for telecommunication services to Four Corners Regional Health Center. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS code is 517111 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.

In accordance with principles of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization). Navajo Communication Co. Inc. currently provides telecommunication services to accomplish the mission objective of providing telecommunication service to maintain hospital.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Navajo Communications Co. Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 2:00 PM MDT on May 2, 2025. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
