- Pursuant to Chapters 2254 and 403, as applicable, of the Texas Government Code, the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (“Comptroller”), an agency of the State of Texas, issues this Request for Proposals No. 240a (“RFP”) for the purpose of obtaining consulting services for provision of qualified peer reviewers to evaluate opioid abatement grant applications for grant opportunities in Texas pursuant to Section 403.509 of the Texas Government Code and Title 34, Chapter 16, Subchapter C of the Texas Administrative Code.The anticipated schedule of events for this solicitation is as follows:Issuance of RFP - March 11, 2025; Questions Due- March 25, 2025, 2:00 p.m. CT; Official Responses to Questions post- April 8, 2025, or as soon thereafter as practical; Proposals Due - April 22, 2025, 2:00 p.m. CT; and Commencement of Services -May 16, 2025. The Comptroller reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify this schedule of events. Any amendment to this solicitation will be posted on the ESBD as an RFP addendum. The complete RFP is attached to this posting. Closing Date:Proposals must be submitted in accordance with instructions in the RFP and received via email to contracts@cpa.texas.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. CT, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.Late proposals will not be considered. It is the responsibility of interested parties to periodically check the ESBD for updates to the RFP and anticipated schedule of events prior to submitting a proposal.
