Tender are invited for The Department of Health has declared an application for a Certificate of Need (CON) complete for the health care facility project described below.Project/Activity: Expansion of Long-Term Care (LTC) Services Providence Valdez Medical Center proposes to expand its existing co-located LTC facility by adding four additional beds, for a total of 14 beds. The proposed project includes an increase to overall square footage of the current LTC wing, by 2,166 sq ft. This additional space will be used for employee offices and a breakroom, a mechanical room, common areas for patients/residents, and will enhance existing spaces such as the dining room, group day room, and storage areas. Additionally, 3,203 sq ft of the existing LTC facility and 717 sq ft of the acute care space will be renovated as part of the conversion of four acute care rooms to LTC rooms.
