Bid Synopsis: The State of Wisconsin (State) Department of Administration-s, Office of the Secretary of State (SOS) is researching options for an embosser to imprint the Great Seal of the State of Wisconsin on various documents. An additional die set with a non-standard size 2-3/8” in diameter is also required. The current Great Seal press is a one-of-a-kind, custom-made device from before the turn of the last century. It is a unique machine that requires specialized craftspeople and extremely detailed specifications required by the constitution and statutes. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation nor offer to contract. Similarly, cost information will be used for budgetary planning purposes only. No more than four (4) responses deemed by the State to best fit the State-s needs may be invited to demonstrate their solution before a team of State subject matter experts after the State completes its review of responses. Additionally, such solutions may be invited to participate in a proof of concept following a successful demonstration.
