Tender are invited for PUBLIC NOTICEThe Municipality of Anchorage has applied for a Historic Preservation Fund - Certified Local Government grant to fund the Local Historic Resources Inventory, Phase 2 project. This grant will complete the local historic and cultural resource inventory and landmarks register for the Municipality of Anchorage, started in Phase 1. In addition, the project will generate a new GIS data set.This project will be conducted within the Municipality of Anchorage. The purpose of this project is to complete unfinished data entry of resources not entered in Phase 1, and to develop and launch the online map and research app by which historic preservation staff, commissioners, and the public interact with the inventory data. This goal of this grant is to help with the support of its historic preservation program and to facilitate greater consideration of historic resources in municipal decision-making processes.Proposed actions include the following elements: Complete local historic and cultural resource inventory for the Municipality of Anchorage.
