The Nc Department Of Adult Correction Is Looking For An Auditor(S) To Assist The Nc Dac In Conducting And Complying With Audit Requirements Pursuant To National Standard 114.401-.405. The Auditor(S) Shall Use The Appropriate Instrument As Developed By The Us Department Of Justice (Usdoj) For Adult Prisons And Jails, Or Community Confinement Facilities To Measure Compliance With National Standards To Prevent, Detect, And Respond To Sexual Abuse In Confinement Settings. The Contract Shall Begin By Audit Cycle Vi: August 20, 2025, And Shall Be Completed No Later Than August 19, 2028. All Ncdac Facilities Must Be Audited Once Within A Three-Year Period.(Note: Auditor Must Be Certified In Either 1) Adult Prisons, Or 2) Community Confinement Standards In Order To Conduct The Audit At A Prison, Or Community Confinement Locations.)The Nc Dac Is Committed To A Standard Of Zero-Tolerance Of Any Undue Familiarity Or Personal Misconduct Between Our Employees And Offenders. We Make A Commitment To Provide Professional And Appropriate Services To Our Offender Population And Support To Our Staff For Their Roles In Accomplishing These Responsibilities. Our Mission Is To Promote Adult Correction By The Administration Of A Fair And Humane System Which Provides Reasonable Opportunities For Adjudicated Offenders To Develop Progressively Responsible Behavior. The Prison Rape Elimination Act (Prea) Of 2003 Fits Perfectly With That Mission. The Prevention And Detection Of Undue Familiarity In Order To Protect Adult Offenders While Safeguarding Our Communities.
