- The Project Consists Of Constructing Approximately 4,000 Linear Feet Total Of 10-Inch Hdpe Gravity Sewer Lines Installed Via Pipe Bursting, 8-Inch Pvc And Dip Sewer Line Installed Via Traditional Open-Cut, Repairing And Replacing Manholes, As Needed, Reconnection Of Sewer Services, And Abandonment Of The Existing Small-Diameter Gravity Sewer Line In Waxhaw. Most Of The Sewer Lines Will Replace Existing Small Diameter Gravity Sewer In Their Existing Alignments, Installed Via Pipe Bursting. The Project Involves Both Pipe Bursting Methods And Conventional Open-Cut Construction Methods. Work Also Includes Traffic Control, Bypass Pumping, Erosion Control, Testing, And Surface Restoration Within The Project Limits.
