The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 561320, Temporary Help Services with a size standard $34 Million. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16) is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing onsite Therapeutic Medical Physicists to support Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030.
Scope - Qualifications:
Board Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist: Candidate can either have MS or PhD degree. Must have at least five (5) years of documented post-board experience after board certification and at least three (3) years of continuous work experience within the last five (5) years to ensure the TMP s experience is current and relevant. Senior TMP must also have the following minimum years of experience, expertise, and knowledge on the following procedures, equipment and software:
Five (5) years of experience Documentation detailing experience in performing QA procedures
Three (3) years of experience Documentation detailing Therapeutic Medical Physics in a healthcare system with an accredited radiation oncology service.
