Description
This is a pre-solicitation synopsis in accordance with FAR 5.201. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is it construed as a commitment by the Government. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with guidance in FAR 5.207, and is prepared for the purpose of notifying potential offerors that the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), intends to award a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract on a large business, sole-source basis to the TA Instruments, Inc. This award will be for fabrication, and installation of the following thermal analytical instrumentation.
Heat Flow Microcalorimeter (HFM) - TAM-IV #1 Heat Flow Microcalorimeter (HFM) - TAM-IV #2 Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) - Research Grade Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) - Analytical Grade
The components of the thermal suite will be required to interface with the current TA Instruments thermal suite systems.
The resultant contract will be a supply type contract, with a contract delivery date of 4 months.
