This Notice is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposal or Request for Quotation or an obligation on the part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for conducting a follow-on acquisition. NIST does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Notice, or otherwise pay for the information requested. No entitlement or payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by NIST will arise as a result of submission of responses to this Notice and NIST use of such information.
Contractor price information and/or price lists, if submitted in response to this Notice, shall be handled by NIST as Source Selection Information in accordance with FAR 3.104-4.

The Material Measurement Laboratory (MML) is one of two metrology laboratories within the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The MML requires a service agreement for maintenance and repair of existing equipment manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific (See Attachment I)
NIST is seeking information on contractors who can provide the following:
A service agreement for the service and maintenance for the Thermo Fisher Scientific instruments and associated components identified in Attachment I. Guarantee the full system performance of these instruments, to the manufacturer-s original specifications, including third-party accessories. Unlimited emergency visits during regular business hours in addition to scheduled preventive maintenance visits. Repair/replace all parts (i.e., hardware, software, accessory components/systems) required for the operation of the systems listed in Attachment I.
