- The Thermos On Thames Unit Owner 2019S Association, Inc Is Soliciting Proposals For Professional Engineering Services To Assist With The Investigation, Abatement, Cleanup And Demolition Of Two Historic Buildings (Glass House 1 & 2) Located On 16.39 Acres At 68 Thermos Avenue, Norwich, Home Of The Former Thermos Factory. This Project Has Been Funded By A $2,091,650 Brownfield Grant Awarded By The State Of Connecticut Department Of Economic And Community Development That Is Being Passed Through To The Association Through The Norwich Community Development Corporation. The Goal For This Project Is To Demolish Glass House 1 & 2 To Make The Land Available For Future Development.
