This Project Will Construct A Truck Driving Track On A Cleared Site At Gtcc'S Greensboro Campus, Located At 3505 East Wendover Avenue, For The Truck Driver Training Program. The Track Pad And Access Road Require Specially Constructed Pads To Accommodate The Weight Of The Semi-Trailer Trucks Used In The Program. The Track Will Include Exterior Lighting, Utility Water, Stormwater, Access Drives, And Parking As Needed To Support The Drive Track. Gtcc Has Been Awarded A Federal Grant From The Department Of Commerce Economic Development Administration (Eda Investment No. 04-01-07847) In The Amount Of $1,741,378 For Partial Funding Of This Project.
