Description:
BFT-s Three Rivers Transit Center Building located in Kennewick, WA provides customer services to the public and needs to be easily accessed by all our customers. The intent of this project is to replace the existing glass storefront, expand the door and install an ADA Actuator to allow for increased functionality for members of the public with access concerns. The replacement door will be required to meet Federal and Washington state ADA requirements for width, height, and door clearance. The expectation is that the door will be compatible with the DMP Virtual Keypad access control system. BFT will have an electrician complete all electrical work.Because the building is open to the public, the Contractor will be responsible for keeping the building secured and complete work quickly with little impact to employees and customers. The time from demolition to installation shall be no more than 5 consecutive working days.Detailed information regarding materials and specs for the project are in the attached plans and drawings (Attachment A).
