- Request for Proposals (RFP) No. SFMTA-2025-25-LOC - Ticket Vending Machines The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to furnish 40 Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) and related software to be installed by SFMTA staff in the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) Metro Stations. The TVM system to be provided by the selected Contractor shall consist of TVM units, TVM internal software that is Payment Card Industry compliant, hosted back-end management software systems, related data communication capabilities, spare parts, documentation, training, and warranty as required under the resulting Agreement. The SFMTA may award a contract to the Proposer that meets the Minimum Qualifications (See RFP Section IV) and whose Proposal receives the highest-ranking score. Any Proposal that does not meet the Minimum Qualifications requirements will be deemed non-responsive. The SFMTA encourages Proposers to attend a virtual Pre-Proposal Conference via Microsoft Teams on January 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM PT. Proposers may register for the Pre-Proposal Conference and submit questions following the instructions included in RFP Section VII.A. The SFMTA will address Proposers- questions and will provide any new or additional information concerning the RFP or selection process at the Pre-Proposal Conference. The RFP and associated documents are attached to this Sourcing Event. If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please follow the submission instructions provided in the RFP document. Bids will not be accepted through the City and County of San Francisco's Supplier Portal website.
