• Pre-solicitation Notice for Touchdown 08 Airfield Pavement Repair and Replacement Kingdom of Jordan W912ER26RA014. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), through its Southwestern Division, Middle East District (SWM), anticipates soliciting and awarding a contract to provide the necessary construction services as described below. The project site is located at an undisclosed location, East of Amman, Jordan. Product Service Code: Z2BD ? Repair or Alternation of Airport Runways and Taxiways. NAICS Code: 237310 ? Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. This project is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contract awarded based on full and open competition using the best value trade off source selection procedures in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation and RFO Part 36- Construction and Architect Engineer Contracts. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice, the forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) or any future follow-up information requests. The Middle East District is evaluating the ability of businesses to perform a comprehensive pavement repair and replacement of concrete pavement at an undisclosed location in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The main effort requires replacing 13,504 Square Meters (SM) of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement and 13,354 SM of asphalt with new, modified-heavy load concrete to extend the touchdown zone of Runway 08/26. This work, which must comply with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards, includes replacing associated lighting and markings.
