- This request is for towing services for the campus of Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) and the Mt. San Antonio College Police and Campus Safety Department (PC&S). We are seeking proposals from qualified and experienced official police towing service contractors to provide on-call towing services for Mt. SAC. The towing services will be required on an as-needed basis and should include prompt response times, professional service, and adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including those delineated within the California Highway Patrol Tow Service Agreement (TSA).The selected contractor must be available to respond to any campus request 24 hours a day and 7 days a week for towing services, recovery services, vehicle storage, roadside assistance, and other related services as deemed appropriate by Mt. SAC Police and Campus Safety Department personnel.Services will include towing services to remove vehicles from the campus that have been identified as stolen, involved in criminal activity, require relocation as they are interfering with the flow of traffic, are illegally parked and obstructing the entrance and/or exit of other parked vehicles, removal of vehicles left abandoned on campus beyond 72 hours, and those vehicles parked on the campus and unrelated to campus related business. Additionally, the scope of services will include the ability to securely store vehicles for non-criminal incidents and those identified as evidence of criminal investigations in a manner that maintains all evidentiary interest.Additionally, the scope of services also includes impounding and storing vehicles at the direction of the Mt. SAC PC&S Department outside the jurisdictional boundaries of the college, as needed for actions that support criminal investigations.
