Description:
On behalf of the Town of Peru, Berkshire Regional Planning Commission is inviting bids from contractors approved by MA DOT for full-depth reclamation and paving in Sunrise Village, and 20% asphalt rubber on Middlefield Rd.Bid packages are available on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at BRPC-s OpenGov online procurement portal found at: https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/berkshire-planning. Bids will be submitted through the online procurement portal no later than Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud via the Zoom link provided on Open Gov.The Town of Peru is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All bids for services are subject to the prevailing wage rates as per Mass. General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27F inclusive, and Chapter 30, Section 39M, and a 5% bid deposit is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check, unless specified in the bid package.MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the classes of work as:Pavement - Reclamation with an estimated value of $48,788.00Pavement - Surfacing with an estimated value of $354,030.00 Pavement - Surfacing with an estimated value of $317,202.00will be required.
