QUESTIONS DUE: December 4, 2025 at 4:30 PM (EDT) RESPONSES DUE BY: December 19, 2025 at 4:30 PM (EDT) STATE CONTACT: James Meyers E-MAIL : BGS.OPCVendorDocs@vermont.gov Revision Date: 03/18/2025 Page | 2 Contractors are invited to bid on the Townsend State Park Utility Improvements Project for Buildings and General Services on behalf of the Agency of Natural Resources - Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation at 2755 State Forest Road in Townsend, Vermont. This project consists of, but is not limited to: All existing galvanized or substandard PVC water lines serving the Park will be replaced with equal or larger diameter HDPE piping with improved hydraulic characteristics. The service line to the Upper Toilet Building, which runs cross-country including an exposed stream crossing and some exposed piping sections will be rerouted to follow road corridors with standard seasonal system depth of burial and enhanced ease of access. The existing water service lines to the Residence/Contact Station/Bathroom building and on to the lower camping loop will be replaced by a dedicated water line across the large lawn area, with curb stopped service into the Bathroom, then follow up and around the camping loop road to service the lowest water stand. An additional service will run from the Pumphouse over to another Water Stand on the entry road. Service to the Residence will be via existing well supply only. Sleeving will be provided at paved road crossings.
