Description:
1. INTRODUCTION
Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA) Management & Operating Contractor of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) owned Idaho National Laboratory (INL), is seeking an Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified vendors for facility upgrades at TRA-628 and TRA-675. This project supports BEA-s ongoing efforts to modernize infrastructure and improve employee amenities.
2. BACKGROUND
INL is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) national laboratory dedicated to nuclear energy, national security, and clean energy innovation. This bundled effort includes two distinct remodels under a single contract, with separate charge numbers to track costs independently. Vendors should be prepared to coordinate closely with BEA to ensure that work is scheduled around existing facility operations and training evolutions:
• TRA-628
o Cosmetic refresh of the existing bathroom
o Conversion to touchless bathroom appliances
o Conversion of an adjacent storage closet into a kitchenette area for food preparation and storage
• TRA-675
o Cosmetic refresh of the existing bathroom
3. PROCESS
This EOI is the first step in identifying interested and qualified vendors. Responses may be used to inform the development of a formal solicitation list. Selected vendors may be invited to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for award consideration.
4. SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS
Interested vendors should submit an Expression of Interest that includes the following:
• Company name and point of contact
• Description of relevant remodeling and facility upgrade experience
• NAICS codes and business size classification
• Any existing DOE or federal contracting experience (if applicable)
