Description:
The City of Reading (City) is seeking bid/proposals to supply the Traffic Signal Preventative Maintenance Program for the City-s Public Works Department as further detailed throughout this IFB inclusive of all tasks, deliverables and/or products required herein. If the City makes an award in connection with the bid/proposal, Attachment P “Contract” and all terms and conditions of this IFB as well as all documents incorporated therein shall form the entire agreement between the City and the successful Bidder.The Citys goal is to provide an effective and efficient traffic control system with devices that maximize safety, quality, reliability, comfort and comprehension while minimizing travel time, inconvenience and expense for the traveling public and taxpayers.These specifications, along with the 2021 Reading Traffic Signal Maintenance Plan provided in Attachment \"T\" and PennDOT Publication 191, shall provide the guidelines for proper maintenance of the signalized intersection sand signal communication equipment within the corporation limits of the City of Reading and to provide for the continuing function in their existing condition or better.
