• *** Addendum No. 1 Issued January 30, 2025 **** I. The State extends the due date and time of the Solicitation from January 30, 2025, 3:00 PM CT to February 4, 2025, 2:00 PM CT. II. Below are the State-s responses to questions received by the deadline stated in the solicitation. Sample Contract Language: “The contractor agrees to pay any and all fees, including, but not limited to duties, custom fees, permits, brokerage fees, license and registrations, government taxes, overhead, profit, parking permits, proper disposal material, insurance payments.” Question 1: Will the state require the contractor to license and register the trailers? Or will the contractor have to do that? If so, is this something that needs to be included in our price or can it be added once an order is placed? Usually this is done after the purchase on standard purchases. Answer 1: MN DOT will register and license the trailers and vehicles; MN DOT requires the MSO to be sent to the address below this language will be included on the PO when issued. Question 2: When I send over the pricing sheet - I plan to use method 2 pricing. Should I remove the method 1 tab? Answer 2: You do not need to remove the Method 1 tab. Question 3: Can I update the insurance policy to the SWIFT? I see it states to mail it to your office. Answer 3: The Certificate of Insurance is not required with the responder-s submission to the solicitation event. Responders that receive a contract award will be notified by the State issued Intent to Award, and the Certificate of Insurance will be requested at a later time before contract execution. *** END OF ADDENDUM *** THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Fax responses and non-electronic responses will NOT be accepted. All responses must be submitted on-line through the SWIFT Supplier Portal before the Event Due Date and Time. Late responses will not be accepted. PURPOSE. The purpose of the Solicitation is to contract with a vendor(s) to provide Trailers (Contract Release T-603 (5) which may be purchased by State Agencies and Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) members on an as needed basis. The types of trailers included in this solicitation are Belly Dump, Lowboy, Flatbed, Tag, Slide Axle, Utility, Gooseneck, Enclosed, etc. PRE-PROPSAL MEETING: A pre-proposal meeting will take place as a Microsoft Teams meeting on January 7, 2025, at 10:00 11:00 AM Central Time. Attendance is optional but recommended. Responders must register by sending an email to karen.mcintyre@state.mn.us at least 48 hours prior to the Microsoft Teams meeting to receive an invitation.
