NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source Requirement for Trash Pick-up and Disposal Services for Lower Colorado Regional Office (LCRO) - Base and four option yearsRef. Sol. No. 140R3025Q0032This solicitation is being advertised as a non-competitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Bureau of Reclamation, Interior Region 8: Lower Colorado Basin, Lower Colorado Regional Office (LCRO), has a recurring requirement for trash collection and disposal services. The only company known to be able to perform these services for the LCRO location(s) is Boulder Disposal Inc. The NAICS for this action is 562111, Solid Waste Collection, which has a small business size standard of $47.0 million.Award is anticipated in May 2025, with services anticipated to begin July 2025. The resulting contract is planned to be a Firm-Fixed Price, Purchase Order, with a base year, where the Government may exercise up to four (4) optional years. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services in the specified location. Submissions are due by Monday, April 28, 2025 at 4:00 PM local time. The contract award information and the Justification and Approval for using noncompetitive procedures will be posted on the Government Point of Entry website (SAM.gov).
