The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is conducting market research to find any potential small businesses that can provide trucking services in support of our nation's Naval mission.
Please review the attached Statement of Work and support documents for details of the upcoming requirement.
The trucking services would be for transportation back and forth between Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Kittery, ME and Naval Base New London located in Groton, Connecticut. Period of Performance: Base 08/25/2025 - 06/24/2026 (10 months), Option (06/25/2026 - 08/24/2026)If this is a service, you can provide and would like the opportunity to quote on. Please provide me with confirmation of your intent to submit a quote via email no later than Sunday 05/11/2025 by 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Additionally, if you could provide a capabilities statement that would be greatly appreciated.

The market research information collected resulting from this Sources Sought Notice will be used to help the Government to identify qualified sources capable of accomplishing the required work outlined in the attached Statement of Work under NAICS Code 484230. All interested parties are encouraged to respond. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
