Description:
The Tarrant Regional Water District is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following Project: TRWD New Operations Compound (OPS)This project will provide a new Operations and Maintenance Facility for TRWD to be located on a 23.5-acre site that TRWD acquired at the southeast corner of I-820 N and Old Decatur Road in Fort Worth, TX. Proposed Buildings include a Main Administration, Storage, Floodway Operations & Construction, Fleet Maintenance & Tool Crib, Vehicle & Equipment Covered Storage, Vehicle & Equipment Wash Bay, Fuel Island with Canopy, Welding Shop, Law Enforcement Division, Purchasing Warehouse and Bulk Storage.The buildings are primarily tilt-wall construction with metal roofing and slab on grade. The one exception is the Main Administration Building which is primarily Steel frame with an area of concrete construction to house TRWD-s critical infrastructure. It is expected that Deep Dynamic Compactions is anticipated to be required for all structures and flat work. A specification has been provided to provide the basis of that work.The buildings are to be permitted separately, and individual document sets are provided for this purpose. The Civil and Landscape documents are to be referenced by all building design packages.The Owners Budget for the Project is $70 - 75 million. The Project is to be Substantially Complete and ready for operation on or before March 30, 2028. The Project is to be complete and eligible for Final Payment 60 days after the date for Substantial Completion.
