  NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT

  INTRODUCTION:
  The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) on behalf of the Defense Centers for Public Health-Aberdeen (DCPH-A) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), with TSI Incorporated (TSI) (UEI: HLY6Q9S8CEV8). This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.102(a)(6) and 5.203(a). USAMRAA intends to publish a solicitation no sooner than 15 days after publishing this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement.
  PROGRAM BACKGROUND:
  This is a non-personal services requirement for the preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of TSI manufactured industrial hygiene equipment in service at the DCPH-A, within the Occupational Health Sciences Directorate.
  REQUIRED SERVICES:
  The Contractor shall provide highly qualified, experienced personnel and services necessary to perform annual preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair support services for Trust, Science, Innovative (TSI) Incorporated equipment in support of the DCPH-A (Attachment 1). The Contractor shall be responsible for accomplishing all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, calibration, repair services include physically inspection, testing and system functionality analysis, update software, diagnose and make repairs if necessary. The requirement is firm-fixed-price for non-personal services for One (1) twelve-month base period and Three (3) twelve-month option periods.
