PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East (MCIEAST), have a requirement to procure Mattresses, Bases/Bedframes, and Mattress Protectors, for Marine Corps Air Station Fire Department located in Beaufort, South Carolina.
It is the Government-s intent to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside.The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 337910. The NAICS Industry Description is Mattress Manufacturing. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Aquistion of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures).
This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotes. The solicitation (M6700125Q1106) will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contracting Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for the solicitation and any asspcoated amendments. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov, is required for entities to do business with and receive funds from the federal Government. Businesses will be assigned a Commercial and Government Entities (CAGE) Code and a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number via the SAM website. Contractors must also be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.piee.eb.mil.
