Description:
Bid Synopsis:The State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation (WisDOT or DOT), through their Purchasing Unit (Purchasing), intends to use the results of this procurement to establish a contract for Type II Temporary Raised Pavement Markers and Guardrail Delineators, from the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Scope Type II Temporary Raised Pavement Markers are flexible materials used to temporarily delineate the location of the roadway pavement markings, primarily for chip-sealing operations. In addition to providing product that is manufactured to the Type II Temporary Raised Pavement Markers, per SDD 15 C34 (Attachment B), the Contractor shall provide instruction, training, and technical assistance as requested. Reference WisDOT approved products listed in Attachment D, APL pavement-marking guide, page 4 of 12, Section named, Temporary Raised Pavement Markers. Guardrail Delineators are a plastic base with reflective sheeting attached to help add emphasis to the guardrail. Contractor(s) will also be required to supply the guardrail delineators that are manufactured to per SDD 15A04-08e (Attachment C), the awarded Contractor must provide instruction, training, and technical assistance as requested.
