This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
FA8524-25-Q-0006 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is not a small businmess set-aside.
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular.
This requirement is for the procurement of the Gate Valve, NSN 4820-00-991-3255, PN 205-060-612-3 (ITT Aerospace P/N AV16B1667D), applicable to the UH-1N. The Gate Valve is a military unique item. This acquisition will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) one time buy contract with ITT Aerospace Controls LLC., with a projected period of performance from 30 September 2025 through 30 September 2026. The Gate Valve is applicable to the UH-1N helicopter and is a commercial item. It is a Motor Operated Fuel Shutoff Valve that is part of the Filter Fuel System Installation of the TH-1H and UH-1N ACFTs. The fuel shutoff valves open or close to control the flow of fuel to the engines. Power is supplied to these valves by the essential bus through circuit breakers.
