The Animal Facility Department of the U.S. Naval Medical and Research Unit - South houses Autos Nancymaae to support all other Research Departments at U.S. Naval Medical and Research Unit - South.
To be able to perform better medical care to Autos Nancymaae this new Ultrasound is needed. Current ultrasound machine needs to be replaced due to being past its life cycle and lacks certain functions needed. Animals are also having more health concerns than in previous years that would benefit for increased diagnostic capabilities. We have seen a large increase in particularly cardiac abnormalities that would benefit from echocardiography capability and color flow doppler. This will also allow us to be able to diagnose other abnormalities in the abdomen with better clarity compared to our current Ultrasound. - Documents:
