United States Coast Guard PACK RAFT REQUIREMENT
QUANTITY: 1 EACH
Minimum dimensions shall be:The pack raft SHALL BE large enough to accommodate 4-6 people (in a training environment) and compact enough to fit into a single-gear bag (with additional equipment) for transport.
Interior Width: Size range 16”-18”
Interior Length: 65”-70”
Weight: No more than 15 lb.
Packed size: Maximum of 22” x 12”
Capacity: SHALL BE Approx. 500 pounds
Construction SHALL be commercial grade with coated nylon hull 420 denier and 840d nylon floor.
Self-bailing is preferred.
Various colors are acceptable.
