SUBJECT: U.S. Navy Naval Station Mayport - Maintenance Dredging, Duval County, Florida SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912EP24B0006DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract. The project work consists of maintenance dredging of portions of the U.S. Naval Station Mayport including Bar Cut-3. Mayport Entrance Channel, Turning Basin, Destroyer Basin, and Small Boat Basin. Excavated material will be transported to and disposed in the Jacksonville Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS) Release Zone ?A?. Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, and sea turtle trawling. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) is issued on 17 January 2025 and bids will be due on 18 February 2024 by 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). A pre-bid conference will take place on Friday January 31, 2025, at 10:00AM EST through Webex https://usace1.webex.com/meet/anelis.i.nazario-castillo. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and must follow conference/site visit registration and access requirements shown in the solicitation. NAICS Code is: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities exception. The Small Business Standard is $37 million. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and 25,000,000.00. The expected period of performance associated with this requirement is: 200 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
