Purpose Of Procurement Pursuant To The State Purchasing Act (official Code Of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Quotes (erfq) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With One Qualified Supplier Who Will Provide E-rate Internet Access To The Board Of Regent Of The University System Of Georgia (hereinafter, The Bor) As Further Described In This Erfq. The Board Of Regents Of The University System Of Georgia (bor) Is Issuing This Request For Quote (rfq) On Behalf Of The Georgia Department Of Education (gadoe), And The Georgia Department Of Juvenile Justice (djj). The Bor May Add Or Remove Any E-rate Or Non-e-rate Eligible Entities Within Georgia Throughout The Life Of The Contract. The Objective Of This Rfq Is To Obtain Internet Access Service From A Single Qualified Internet Service Provider (isp) At A Cost That Is Favorable To The Bor. Internet Access Is Defined As A Data Communications Conduit That Provides Direct Access, Or Connectivity To The Global Internet.
