This is a sources sought announcement in accordance with FAR 15.201 and in anticipation of a future procurement. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry-s capability to provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) direct replacement parts and components for the USS SOMERSET (LPD-25) to directly replace parts for the side port door and the bridge crane. This is in direct support of the upcoming FY25 Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). See Product Description List (Enclosure (1)). The contractor shall furnish ALL materials required in the Product Description List.
SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest.
SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Product Description List. The applicable NAICS code NAICS 332510- Hardware Manufacturing.
What/Where to Submit: Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a letter of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. Please scan your letter of interest and email it to Contract Specialists, Roxana Lopez, at roxana.a.lopez2.civ@us.navy.mil, and Cindy Wong, at cindy.p.wong2.civ@us.navy.mil, with “USS SOMERSET (LPD-25) LLTM DIRECT REPLACEMENT SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE” in the subject field and hand or digitally sign your letter of interest. The letter of interest should include a brief description of your company and its ability to provide all the OEM materials no later than 18 August 2025 or best availability as set forth in Enclosure (1), and answers to the following specific questions. Please limit your response to no more than five (5) pages.
