SPS is a critical part of any Hospital as it ensures all clinical departments have a readily available supply of sterile equipment. One of the key pieces of equipment supporting any SPS is the Critical Water support. Both West Haven and Newington have large Reverse Osmosis based water treatment systems that provide a direct critical water supply to SPS personnel and equipment.
