The purpose of this NOCA is to notify industry of the VA s intent of contact action, using other than competitive procedures for sole source, as authorized by, FAR 6.302-1(ii) (B). Notice of contract action: West Palm Beach VA Contracting has issued a sole source, firm fixed price contract using other-than competitive procedures to Hill-Rom, Inc. for the Emergency Procurement of Replacement Hill-Rom Mattresses for Hill-Rom Beds owned by the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center in order to comply with a Federal Patient Safety Alert AL24-01 Addendum #1 - #3. Estimated value of this acquisition is

. This is not a solicitation for quotes. Information available to the Contracting Officer indicates that Hill-Rom, Inc. is the manufacture, and authorized distributor to provide the required Hill-Rom, Inc. Beds/Equipment Owned by the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.Responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered by the agency for future procurements but shall in no way bind the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this NOCA or any follow-up information requests. All information shall be in writing, sent via email. Responses must be received no later than 12:00pm EST, February 14, 2025.
