Description:
The County is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified contractors to provide services for the replacement of metal siding and trim on the Countys fire department building located at 4455 Old Hickory Rd, Lancaster SC. The scope of work will include removal of existing deteriorated metal components, disposal of construction debris, and installation of new aluminum or steel materials that meet current building codes and fire-resistant standards. The selected contractor must provide a detailed timeline, project methodology, and cost breakdown for labor, materials, and permits. All work shall be conducted in a manner that ensures minimal disruption to ongoing emergency services operations.Contractors must demonstrate previous experience with building renovations involving metal replacement, preferably on facilities serving public safety functions. Proposals should include references, proof of insurance, and applicable certifications. Evaluation will be based on technical capabilities, value, proposed schedule, and contractor qualifications.
