THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY; it does not constitute a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. The 30th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
The Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) Chapel is in need of musically-inclined individuals to fill the musician and music director positions for both the Catholic and Protestant religions. The VSFB Chapel has the responsibility of meeting the needs of a diverse community in support of Vandenberg-s continuous global space mission.
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 711130, "Musical Groups and Artists". The PSC is G002, “Social Chaplain”. with the corresponding size standard of $12,000,000.00.
Attachment 1 is an example of a previous contract's PWS. An updated/finalized PWS will be posted with a formal solicitation on a later date.
The information that is received from this Notice will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition. Information received will not be shared with other potential offerors.
