In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirement. The VA Northern Indiana, Marion Campus 1700 East 38th Street, Marion Indiana 46952 intends to negotiate a Sole Source Award with EOI, Inc. dba Medical Resources. They are located at 8377C Green Meadows Drive North Lewis Center, OH 43035. The contractor shall provide annual support and maintenance of the Checkpoint System. This service monitors temperature and humidity throughout the facility and outpatient clinics. EOI, Inc. (DBA Medical Resources) has an exclusivity agreement with the sole manufacturer, Mesa Labs as the only distributor for the CheckPoint Temperature Monitoring System and its components in Veterans Healthcare facilities. EOI, Inc possesses the necessary access to perform all the services we require to the current Checkpoint System.The NAICS code for this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair andMaintenanceThe size standard - $34 million Product and Service Code (PSC) J059 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Electrical and Electronic Equipment ComponentsOther persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday March 13, 2025 at 12pm EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
