The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with:U.S. Instruments Inc.500 N Main Street Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08734ueiSAM: LJC2Z44DAEN9The Department of Veterans Affairs VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source Delivery Order off FSS Contract Number: V797D-70250 for two (2) Parks Flo-Lab 2100-SX2 and one (1) USI Disposable 10cm Cuff. The Flo-Lab 2100-SX2 is a non-invasive vascular system that is a fully integrated vascular diagnostics instrument for hospitals and laboratories. The current vascular system has reached the end of its life due to its Windows 7 operating system that is no longer supported by the OEM. An unsupported operating system can no longer receive the most up to date patching to protect the system against cyber-attacks. The new vascular system must have DICOM capability to interface with our VISTA Imaging storage database and must transmit the patients' images to the hospital Electronic Medical Records (EMR). The data format is proprietary to the manufacturer's software and cannot be imported into another manufacturer's software.The authority for this action is FAR 8.405-6(b) Items peculiar to one manufacturer and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.The intent is to procure the lease of these products on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.The NAICS 334510. The size standard is 1250.
