Description
Vehicle Insurance Services for SUVs, automobiles, cargo trucks, and motorcycles that belong to the different agencies within the embassy. These vehicles are divided in two types of licenses: diplomatic plates and local yellow plates. They are to be insured to cover SOAT (Seguro Obligatorio de Accidentes de Tránsito) and TPL (Third Party Liability), in compliance with the mandate by the Protocol Manual of the Colombian Foreign Affairs Ministry. The vehicle fleet to be covered is property of the U.S. Embassy Bogotá and they are located at the United States Embassy Bogotá, the Branch Office in Cartagena, and other regional offices and cities in Colombia.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
