The U.S. Embassy in Algiers intends to issue a solicitation for the acquisition of a box truck on or around May 22, 2025 (TBC). The solicitation will not include the box. The contractor shall furnish and deliver the vehicle to the U.S. Embassy in Algiers, Algeria. Warranty shall be honored through a dealer located in Algiers, Algeria, with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for the vehicles available locally.
The solicitation will close on or around June 05, 2025 (TBC). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered.
The U.S. Embassy in Algiers will launch the solicitation on the https://dz.usembassy.gov/ website when it is available.
This solicitation aims to acquire a Box Truck similar or equivalent to a new 2024 or 2025 IVECO Daily 35 C15 E3. The salient characteristics include:

The government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Advance payments are not authorized.
