THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE NON-PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division-West (HCD-W), San Diego, intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price contract for ventilator calibration service in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source.

The objective of this sole source award is to perform the periodical calibration services in accordance with he manufacturer-s instructions. The services shall be performed on site for six (6) ventilators. Calibration service is required twice per year in coordination with MTF Yokosuka-s MTF Biomedical Repair personnel. The contractor shall provide documentation that the service personnel have received training and experience in repairing and/or maintaining the required equipment. Service to include labor, travel time, mileage and all other related expenses necessary to calibrate the equipment. The anticipated period of performance is for a base year and four (4) option years (01 Apr 2025 - 31 Mar 2030).

Based on market research, Japan Computer Supplies Inc., is the only source that can perform these services for U.S. Naval Medical Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Yokosuka, Japan.
