The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors capable of performing the services. The Solicitation Number for this announcement is N4008525R2556; Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT), Public Works Department (PWD) Crane, Indiana is currently seeking potential sources for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with recurring and non-recurring work for maintenance, repair, alteration, and minor construction for Vertical Transport Equipment (VTE). The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, quality control, and management necessary to perform maintenance, repair, alteration, demolition and minor construction, inspection, testing, and component replacement of VTE per the manufacturer's original specifications and the requirements of ASME-A17.1 - Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators. VTEs covered in this contract include elevators, vertical wheel chair lifts, material lifts, and dumbwaiters.
Low Price Technical Acceptable selection procedures will be utilized in conducting this competitive negotiation, which will consist of the submission of price and technical proposals once the Request for Proposal is issued.
Work will be performed via an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with both recurring and non-recurring services with a base period of one (1) 12-month period, and four (4) 12-month option periods.
Recurring services provide direct support to the Government Inspector in the performance of Safety Code Certification Inspection and Testing, including monthly maintenance, Periodic (6 month), Category 1 (Annual), and Category 5 (Five Year) Inspections and Tests for all VTE.
